    Homestay with basic equipment. Black out 3 times when using kettle and hair dryer in the house, kettle and bathing, hairdryer and bathing... In adition, you will need to walk 20minutes everday to and fro the JR station. It would be a nightmare if you have a lot of luggages, young children and eldery..

    If not for the kindness of strangers working in a bar on the lower level of this property (who were btw completely unrelated to the renting of this unit) I would not have been able to even check in. They led me to an apartment of someone who knew the phone number of the host & knew some English. Between that & my son knowing some Japanese we managed to get a room number & a lock box code. I messaged the host several times before I left on my trip through Agoda & never got a response. The host claims they replied but I didn’t get it so maybe that was the problem 🤷‍♀️ although I haven’t had an issue getting replies from another host on Agoda so I am a little doubtful 🤨 The bathroom/laundry wasn’t dirty but very moldy/mildew stinky but once the shower was run a couple of times & we did a load of laundry it went away. Overall the place is old & dated & while it may not be dirty per se it definitely feels that way because of the age of the place. Location is good - close to train stations. If they were to update the place they could get a lot more money. We called them again at the end of our stay - after once again receiving no response from our messages to through Agoda - & she was annoyed & told us to ask our questions about checkout through Agoda & hung up. We thought the checkout was at 11 & someone came to clean at 10 so it was nice they gave us until we left at 10:30 without any issues but the communication with the host MUST be improved.

    Took us more than an hour to figure out how to access our room. Only received the instructions after I knocked at some doors and asked who’s in charge. Had some inquiries throughout my stay but never got any reply from the property at all.
