Le Chalet Rustique

Een fijn huis met mooi grote en tuin. Heerlijk ruim. Ondanks de warmte bleef het koel binnen. Mooi terras waar je lekker met elkaar goed aan kunt zitten en eten. In de kelder was een poolbiljart. TOP! De hot tub, met 'mwah-water', kregen we na enig proberen uiteidelijk aan de praat.

Op een later moment besloten om toch Opa en Oma gezellig mee te nemen. Genoeg bedden namelijk! Hier moesten we wel een aanzienlijk extra bedrag voor betalen (??). Later op Bookings.com nogmaals een boeking geprobeerd; eerst met 5 (en hond) toen met 7 (en hond). De extra kosten met 2 personen maar waren tijdens deze boeking te verwaarlozen klein. Heel merkwaardig en een beetje een 'anti-climax' op een verder fijn verblijf in Spa. Verder was het jammer dat de grote terrasparsol deffect was. Oja, de hond van de buren poept in de tuin?

Chalet chaleureux et bien agréable, dans un cadre hors de la ville malgré qu’on y soit peut éloigné. Le chalet est très calme et confortable.

Dommage pour le jacuzzi en panne mais une compensation est prévu donc à moitié embarrassant seulement

The location and the view are amazing, very spacious, back in time, romantic. The bbq was a great success.

The jacuzzi was not so clean, further all fine.

An amazingly cute and rustic chalet, stunning view!! Lovely little fireplace, which you're allowed to use with communal wood. The chalet really had its charms on me. Spa is also a very cute village and a lovely place to have a drink and not too far away from the adventures that might await you in the rest of the Belgian Ardennes. 🏞️

The hot tub didn't work. Even though we had expressly agreed beforehand that I'd want to make use of it and that it was mutually exclusive with me booking the chalet. They asked me to pay €50,- for using the hottub out of season. They tried their best to have it fixed, even going so far as sending someone well outside of business hours, however I was only able to make use of the tub on the day I had to check out. They have assured me they'll be paying me back the €50,- and have as compensation allowed me to checkout late. But neither really was enough to cover what I missed out on in my opinion. (Additionally: this wasn't a problem for us because we were just 2 people, but there's only 1 shower/bathtub in the chalet, that might become an issue with larger groups) However none of this will stop me from possibly booking with them again!
