Modern Birmingham Retreat, Steps to Parks and Eats

Very clean and comfortable

Perfect location!!!! Restaurants within walking distance.

Super convenient to our competition venue and surrounding places to shop and eat.

There was a strong smell of weed in our hallway, but that isn’t the property’s fault.

It was very clean and very easy to access. I liked the electric lock and there was a very quiet place seemed soundproof enough didn’t hear a lot of people. there is also a Tesla supercharger nearby for people who own electric vehicles.

Wasn’t a fan of the parking situation I was able to find some parking nearby but didn’t feel very safe or reliable in the parking options, especially as somebody who’s not from the area so I didn’t quite understand if where I was parking was legal parking or not, but thankfully, I did not get a ticket. Also, I could’ve sworn the listing said that parking was available, but in the instructions after it said there was no parking. Additionally, the batteries for the fan were dead so I was stuck with the default setting or just turning it off. I would say it could probably stay in to be about $20 cheaper not an extreme amount. It is a nice place. However the hotel right across the street was probably about $10-$17 more and I think I would’ve stayed there instead, knowing that parking was consistent and secure there for my stay I can see the value and if I had been staying in Alabama for a week or longer than I would’ve preferred this location a lot more and if I could’ve found better parking options nearby however, for our weekend stay, I think the hotel across the street from here isn’t much better option for the price.
