Grangeford Retreat, Trentham

This property is a adult and kid (and pet) haven! what a fantastic space with everything you could hope for! The pool is just the cherry on a very big wonderful cake.

The property itself as a whole was simply magnificent in every way. The hero of the show was the indoor magnesium pool. A real hit with the kids (and this big kid). The location of the property was perfect. Less than 5 mins from the town centre, but hidden away in plain sight. The size of the property and the landscape is deceptively large, with ample levels of privacy. Amazing for a small family. Furthermore - what stood out most about this property was the accommodating host. We were made to feel exceptionally welcomed before even entering the property. In my time travelling both locally and abroad, I have not been hosted by a more friendly and compassionate host. Simply a wonderful human (whilst we have never met and may not ever meet). Thank you!!!

The only aspect we didn’t like was having to leave.

Unbelievable stay! Everything you could possibly want. Pool was amazing - so too is the deep bath tub. Kangaroos out your window in the morning.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like other than working out all the light switches - especially to outside which may be fixed at night. But probably user-error on my part. It’s very hard to fault this property.

The beautiful home and environment. The genoristy of the hosts with provisions, time availabilty, arrival gift and exceptional communication. Hosts' interest in us and our needs for the weekend. Providing an establishment that made it feel like our own home whilst we were there.

The house still has some renovations occuring and whilst these had no impact on our weekend they certainly provided some unwelcome interest for the Grandchildren, particularly extensive external wiring.
