If there is better accommodation available in France, I am yet to find it

If I could rate this property as a 12 out of 10, I would. I judge the properties on the attention to detail, the little extras that many owners never would consider or notice. The owners of this property were obviously well travelled because they knew all of the things experienced travellers look for.

The only regret was that our 4 nights was not long enough to enjoy all of the local attractions.

Very impressive conversion done to a high standard, very large room and bathroom, excellent breakfast with large well stocked choice.

Audi's sat nav couldn’t find it but Google maps came to the rescue - so nothing negative to say here.

Friendly and helpful host. Very comfortable, clean and quiet - perfect after a long journey.

Breakfast was great. Lots of choice. All very fresh. Good coffee and a huge choice of juices. Beds were really comfy, the room was large and the beds really comfortable with really luxurious towels and all the home comforts (hairdryer, plenty of towels and pillows, blackout shutters)

A nice stop for a bit of unpretentious, country living.

The property had a lot of character and charm with lovely views.

Screens on the windows would have been helpful. The weather was quite warm so open windows in the bedroom were essential but lots of insects flew in disturbing our sleep.

We loved our stay!

Excellent, friendly hosting by Bettina. Very clean accommodation and comfortable bed. Well-provisioned communal garden area and plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast - great choice.

Minor niggle - nowhere to hang clothes - at least a peg or two in the bedroom would have been useful. As mentioned by others not much soundproofing but wasn't a problem during our stay - others guests were considerate.

Very quiet and comfortable grounds. Safe for our children 4,7,9,11. Host, Bettany, was helpful and considerate to all guests. Very welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Loved the communal gardens for the evening, good to chat with others. We had the apartment (Le Six) which was comfortable, a good size and had everything we needed.

Superb

Comfortable rooms, quiet location near Rennes. The beds are comfy and very big, too. Comfortable duvets. Everything is very clean. Bruno is always at hand when needed, Check-in and out was very easy. Plus there is a small shop run by him which was very convenient for our first evening. Ample parking space. The kitchen (shared) is really well equipped and in very good condition!

One important thing to know: for the rooms the kitchen is shared, something we were not aware of at the time of booking. The rooms were not very sound-proofed, but that was not an issue for us, we still had a good night's sleep. I am only mentioning it in case someone is very sensitive to this issue.
