Shared Space in SoSo Coastal Retreat

It was very clean and the host you could tell wanted her guest to have a nice relaxed experience. I did not spend very long there and was not there often except to sleep in the evenings. However, there was a beautiful courtyard that I saw one day that was nice everything besides the charges for renting a room in a studio and not really, any communication or understanding between the two of us it was uncomfortable. I think the host was great and she kept to clean, but I don’t feel that it was worth the value at all, and I also feel like it did not have that prize quoted when I went to sign and pay for it. Which happened on my second stay that I tried to make as well, the price was 300 and some dollars. My card went through and was cleared and when I spoke to customer service, they said that the fee of the room was 495 which was not true. I had a screenshot and I knew my budget. Even though my card was cleared and I got a confirmation number and all that I am waiting to hear back if I just have to lose the $300 or if I will have that returned to me because they said it was declined however it was confirmed that it was paid and had cleared through my bank and on the Booking.com website. I just think there’s a lot of issues that I’ve never ran into the Airbnb. So it’s unfortunate but I don’t think I’ll be Booking too much more through there as there’s been a problem every time.

In regards to the property, everything was fine. It just was not what I expected. Therefore I did not spend much time at the studio except when I would sleep.. I understand and have used Airbnb and Booking.com now a few times but mainly Airbnb and it’s very obvious if you are renting a room, it will say room that’s for rent. It was a surprise to show up and realize that I was not only sharing a studio, but that I was about a foot away from her door. I just felt uncomfortable and think that it was a very overpriced for the value. It was very clean. However, I think the price is for the cleaning fee is outrageous if you stay only a night or two. I am extremely clean and always clean up. Take the trash out. I don’t cook places so I don’t understand the $125 fee for cleaning. If all I did was sleep on the sheets I think that’s rather expensive to wash sheets and maybe lightly vacuum the floor. I don’t want this to be a negative review. I just was shocked when I saw the price was almost $500 for what I rented for three nights.

I like that I had everything I needed to be comfortable. Parking space, room in the refrigerator, shower and bathtub that is great for very tall people. Spotless interior. Even sharing the bathroom with the owner wasn't a problem, it was spotless the whole time.
