Cozy Stay Leoben 2 - Self Check-in

Perfect for a one-night stay. It is clean, very easy to find and to enter. The host makes great efforts in it, he sent a lot of pictures to get in quick and safely. It has a good equipped kitchen, big bathroom.

There is no tv, no wifi. The A1 mobile signal is also quite bad, you can't watch youtube continuously. So prepare for a digital detox there (could be positive also, but if you want to find something in the neighborhood and don't have signal, it's a bit annoying.). However there is the kitchen, I didn't find paper towels. The bed is very soft, but it is a matter of taste. The thermostat is ticking all night. But the worst, there is a small child in the neighborhood, he is crying all the time, and you hear him very loud through the walls. We got almost no sleep. Parking is not free, 1.40E an hour.

It was a very practical choice for our short trip. The apartment was clean, tidy, and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, even for preparing a proper breakfast like scrambled eggs. We especially appreciated the self check-in system, as it allowed us to arrive flexibly without depending on the host. The owner sent detailed and clear instructions on how to find the apartment and access the property. The address was also easy to locate using Google Maps. Parking costs €1.40 per hour between 8:00 and 18:00. Since we were out hiking during the day (we drove to Leopoldsteinersee in the morning), we only parked in the evening, so we paid for just 2–3 hours in total. It offers good value for money and is perfect for 1–2 nights, especially for nature or hiking trips. The area is quiet and provides a peaceful stay.

The apartment is more practical than cozy or romantic, so it may not be ideal for those looking for a special or scenic experience.

Gute Lage, 16 min. Fußweg zur Universität, 3 min zum Spar. Unterkunft war leicht zu finden.

Das Apartment ist sehr hellhörig. Man hört jedes Geräusch der Nachbarn. Die Küche ist sehr spärlich ausgestattet, und kein Geschirrtuch vorhanden. Ich musste eines der Händehandtücher vom Badezimmer verwenden, um das Geschirr abzutrocknen. Das Bett ist kurz und macht bei kleinster Bewegung Geräusche. Leider gibt es keine Vorhänge sondern nur Jalousien, die kaputt und deshalb nicht verstellbar sind, deshalb bleibt es auch in der Nacht hell im Raum. Das Fenster im Badezimmer war nur mit hochheben schließbar, und hat weder Luft noch Geräusche abgedichtet. Sichtschutz im Badezimmer ist mit (sich lösendem) Klebeband befestigt, leider nur zu ca. 2/3 vom Fenster. Ein großes Duschhandtuch war nicht vorhanden. WLAN ist gratis, aber sehr schlecht. Regelmäßige Unterbrechungen, wie auch von anderen Gästen beschrieben.
