Sottobosco Livigno

Sottobosco was great! Super nice modern apartment with everything you’d need (including laundry). Plus the folks Mattia and family that run it are incredibly nice and great hosts :)

The location was a little out of the main town area- however there is a bus stop right nearby and a ski lift a 5-10 min walk so if you don’t mind that no problem at all

The apartment is extremely comfortable and warm, and fully equipped for everyday living — including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The kitchen deserves special mention: the tableware and utensils are thoughtfully selected, with everything you might need (ladles, spoons, cookware), clearly chosen with care and attention to detail. The bed is very comfortable, with a high-quality memory foam mattress and great pillows, plus easy temperature control, which made sleeping perfect. The apartment is spacious, with fast wireless internet, a private parking space in the underground garage, and a storage room where you can safely leave skis or snowboards. The host is incredibly attentive and genuinely helpful. We communicated in advance because we were visiting during the Olympic Games, when car access to the city was restricted. She explained everything clearly beforehand, helped us with the access rules, met us on arrival, and showed us how everything works — which made the stay completely stress-free. The location is also excellent: about a 10-minute walk to the nearest ski lift, and at the same time a bus stop is literally 100 meters away, making it very easy to reach the lifts by public transport.

Honestly, nothing. There is absolutely nothing I would want to change about this place. During the Olympic Games, prices in the area were naturally higher than usual, but even then this apartment was significantly more affordable than any comparable options nearby. Considering the quality, comfort, and location, the pricing is very reasonable.
