Watson Street Cottage

We only stayed at Watson St Cottage for one night, so didn't really get to enjoy all that the property had to offer. We could see that a lot of thought and care has gone into the presentation, cleanliness and function of the cottage. Located in a quiet part of Albury, we felt safe and secure. We could see a great BBQ and fire pit in the lovely backyard, but unfortunately didn't have time to use them. Appreciated the lock-up garage to house our vehicle. An easy drive into town (or you could catch the nearby bus) meant that nothing was too far away.

The bedrooms were very small, and we found it hard to fit two suitcases into the main bedroom. I guess if you were staying longer you'd unpack the bags into the built-in cupboard space. The kitchen is quite small and pokey, but it has everything you would need including a full fridge and stove. The cottage is set on a hilly slope with a steep drive-way, which is sealed and workable, some people might struggle with the incline.

Exceeded all expectations

Lovely little cottage, very well maintained and had all the little things that made the place extra special. E.G. nice and newly renovated backyard area, kitchen is fully equipped and well stocked with essentials e.g. salt, pepper, tomato/bbq sauce, OIL (so good to have oil already available to use), and even things like sandwich bags. So useful for us to store leftover snacks. WiFi is good. Door code extremely convenient. 3 bedrooms all very comfy, nice cosy living room with comfortable couches to hang out as a family. Very nice quiet area, but also only 5 mins drive to the town centre to get food/supplies. We loved our stay, thank you so much!
