Vista do Lago - China Park Eco Resort

This is a beautiful home and very well equipped with everything you could need. It is very spacious, clean, and has beautiful views in every direction. We had a wonderful time cooking and enjoying the views and space of the home. The owner was very responsive to any requests.

This property is located in a resort and they charge extra fees per person that were not clearly presented before booking. We did not use any of the resort services so paying more money for nothing was upsetting. The house does not have heat or AC. When we stayed it was quite cold particularly at night 64 degrees. If we wanted to have a fire in the fireplace to heat the huge freezing house, we had to pay an additional fee for the wood. This doesn’t seem quite right. On this same note, the pool is not heated and could not be used at all. It was only 66 degrees. I went in once but it was a cold plunge for sure. This property is on a very steep lot and this absolutely should have been disclosed in the descriptions or pictures. Get ready for going up and down stairs constantly. From the pool/BBQ area to the bedrooms upstairs is 4 stories up. The stairs inside the house really don’t have railings and the steepness of the general property could be dangerous or unmanageable for anyone with mobility issues. These items should have been clearly presented. Extra costs and stairs are important things to know about in advance. It may not have deterred us, this was a beautiful home that met all of our needs quite nicely.
