The location was excellent. The accomoadtion was spacious, clean and well decorated.

The watered down hand-wash. The couch was a bit small and there could be more comfortable seating in the lounge.

location was great - and house was spotlessly clean house nicely decorated and kitchen was comprehensively stocked with utensils. nice touch with teas, coffees and biscuits on arrival. plenty hot water and shower gel / shampoo provided too.

no parking and everywhere nearby was taken day and night. had to park on outskirts of village +/- 12 minute walk away.

Although the exterior of the property looked unprepossessing, the interior was excellent - stylish, comfortable and very well equipped. A real little gem! Although the property is on a busy junction (and there can be traffic noise), the location is good in that it is in Shaldon itself and in easy walkable distance to the rest of the village. It is also walkable to Teignmouth. Very pleased that it is dog friendly. It felt as though the owners had put a lot of thought and care into converting this former business property into a very attractive holiday let.

I hated the location of the key safe - in an awkward corner and low down and by the bin. Hard to read the numerals in such a position and although commonly used, I find this style of key safe particularly fiddly. I would not have liked to try to use this in the dark. Some extra lighting in the kitchen would be helpful - hard to read dials on the microwave without using a torch. Parking is a major problem in Shaldon so lack of nearby long stay parking could be an issue for most guests.
