The Loft at Goolwa - A Cosy Courtyard Cottage

Loved the retro vibe. Location was a short walking distance to many things eg wharf precinct, main street. Well equipped kitchen. Courtyard was small but adequate. Bathroom was good.

The fridge could have been bigger for longer stay. Bathroom was fine but could have more shelf space. Needed more bath towels only one each. The stairs going up to the Loft were sturdy, but I wouldn't recommend this sleeping arrangement to anyone who is older. There is no toilet upstairs and so you have to navigate stairs in middle of night to get to bathroom. The wires at the side of the Loft bedroom were a safety issue. Could be solved with more timber supports. The bed linen was very thick. We were unable to navigate the lock entry when we arrived and a phone call to a call centre in the Phillipines did not help at all.the instructions were very confusing. Luckily a lady from Victor Harbour drove down to help.the key safes were not correctly labelled. Would be better to label it The Loft, instead of Studio.

Lovely 70’s retro vibe in a fantastic location, walkable to restaurants in the town. Super cosy for 2 people.

Missing little touches like a small carton of milk for a coffee. It provided coffee pods but nothing to have with them unless you went shopping. Nothing is provided in this unit other than sugar sachets coffee pods and some tea bags. The remote for the aircon didn’t work when we arrived. While they were responsive to my questions to fix it they had no idea how to do it and left it up to us to have to work out which was poor.
