Attalah Beach Cottage

1. The location is amazing! Very private, spacious, and situated right next to the reef, sunrise views are breathtaking as you look over the ocean. 2. The house is very aesthetic, well-styled, and gets regularly cleaned thoroughly. 3. The host (Faith) was very kind and responsive; any issues we had, she resolved speedily. 4. Every room had AC that wasn't charged as an additional cost (which isn't the case at their penthouse property... side eye). 5. We had a troop of monkeys visit us in the backyard, which was delightful (I do recommend being careful with food and valuables outside).

1. The pillows and mattresses could be softer. 2. The cleaning staff sometimes come unannounced (they have direct access to the house), which can be uncomfortable if you wish for an intimate setting. Scheduling specific cleaning hours with guests would help. 3. The access gate to the beach is extremely rusted and difficult to open, which makes it dangerous; it needs to be replaced. The stairs to the beach should also be fixed. 4. The house cat is very cute, but it doesn't get fed, which then somehow feels like an obligation for guests to sort out. A bag of cat food should be available at all times. 5. The signage at the gate is not as noticeable, which can make it difficult for guests, Uber drivers, and delivery drivers to locate. It should be made more visible/noticeable; maybe make a bigger signpost to place closer to the road facing drivers.
