D&D Lodge - Central Otago Architectural Retreat

D & D lodge is absolutely beautiful. The thought and detail put into the entire property inside and out created such a relaxing and enjoyable part of our holiday. From the moment of arrival we were blown away with the elegance and charm of the property, the unbelievable landscaping and attention to every little detail. The home has a charm that makes it feel like a home away from home that you don’t want to leave. Sitting by the fire outside enjoying the glorious views, sitting inside enjoying a glass of wine while dinner is cooking in the extremely well equipped kitchen alongside the indoor fire, exploring the mountains and the history of the land along the expansive walking tracks through the unbelievable rock faces. Whether sunny, overcast, rainy or foggy the property is always spectacular and you won’t want to leave.

Our stay at D&D Lodge was truly exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed by Dan and Dave’s thoughtful touches. Especially the beautiful welcome basket, which was such a lovely surprise after a day of travelling. The house itself is absolutely stunning. Every detail has clearly been carefully considered, from the gorgeous design and stylish interiors to the comfort of the spaces that made it so easy to relax straight away. The views are simply breathtaking. It’s rare to find a place that feels both luxurious and completely homely at the same time, but D&D Lodge does exactly that. It gave our family the rest and relaxation we needed, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you, Dan and Dave, for creating such a beautiful place to stay and for going above and beyond to make us feel so welcome. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend D&D Lodge to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
