Margate Beachfront Penthouse

The view from the apartment is stunning! Amenities are great for a home away from home.

The bathrooms did not have doors. We were a mixed group of individuals and this was problematic for us. Directions to the apartment itself could also be improved.

We made arrangements to enter the property at 14:00, when we arrive to pick up the keys from the garage(lockbox) we were notified that the tenants before us left late and the property is not clean yet ,we had to wait an hour with small children in the car. At the garage it wasn't safe at all we were waiting in the car with the doors open we saw some people watching us and my husband overheard them(he knows Zulu) they wanted to rob us but we saw this coming and closed all the car doors and put the air conditioner on so they left. This wasn't nice, made our whole holiday feeling unsafe and scared.

When we phoned the cleaning agent to request the keys ,we asked if we can sit in the car on the property premises we were rudely informed that it is against property policy. She also claims that our arrangement were with Booking.com and they knew nothing of this and it is company policy that people can only enter at 15:00.
