De ligging vlakbij het mooie plaatsje Riedenburg en het mooie meer met enorme ligweides omringd door bomen waar kan worden gezwommen (helaas verboden voor honden).

Geen enkele schaduw van bomen. Geen ventilatoren aanwezig. Chaletjes bijna allemaal erg dicht op elkaar. Terrein ziet er onverzorgd uit en komt mistroostig over. Er is geen directe toegang tot het wandel/fietspad langs het kanaal. Door de hoge heggen is er geen uitzicht op het kanaal.
