Fun w/ Family! Mtn-View Gem w/ Deck in Driggs

We recently stayed at this property and overall had a wonderful family gathering. The home is very spacious-comfortably accommodated our group. There were plenty of beds, large bedrooms, and enough common space for everyone to spread out. Our favorite part was gathering around the dining table-living room each evening for family time. The large porch-yard were also great, especially for children to play. The yard provided the best views of the Teton range. Adding outdoor furniture would be a good improvement (which was lacking) so guests can better enjoy outdoor space. The children’s teepee shown in listing was collapsed on porch, which was disappointing for kids who were looking forward to it. There were, however, several issues that future renters should know about, especially given the price point. The biggest concern was the air conditioning. The home is advertised with AC, which was important to our booking decision; it did not work properly. Multiple portable fans throughout house suggested this may be an ongoing issue. Even with all fans running, some bedrooms reached about 80° during 2 nights. We also noticed several OM items upon arrival, including a broken kitchen faucet, burned-out light bulbs, a broken towel bar, carpet stains, run-on toilets, window screen issues, loose cabinet hardware, unfinished drywall/access areas, and other visible areas needing attention. The grill was of a low quality; should be replaced. We arrived to an overflowing trash can in the garage with bags left beside it; there should be enough capacity to avoid incoming guests dealing with previous guests’ overflow. While normal wear and tear is expected, the home would benefit from general TLC - deferred maintenance. Guests should plan to bring basic supplies. We brought toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent, which was fortunate since little was provided. There was some dish soap - dishwasher pods, but not enough for a large group for a week. Bathroom amenities were provided-appreciated. We appreciated the lawn being maintained during our stay, but we were not notified beforehand that workers would be on property including to spray the yard (either for weeds or insects). With children playing outside, advance notice (or preferrable doing it between renters) would have been appreciated. Overall, the home has great space, views, and potential, but addressing noted issues would significantly improve guest experience.

The house was beautiful! It has enough room for multiple couples, and even had toys and a pack & play for the kids.

Fantastic home for a large group with a fantastic location just off Ski Hill Road just down the street from Grand Targhee Ski Resort !!!

The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
