My Home Tangalle is truly a gem. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed in the most heartwarming way – a little girl greeted me with a bouquet of flowers and a big smile. It was such a beautiful and touching first impression. Even though I stayed only one night, everything was perfectly prepared for me. The kitchen is fully equipped with absolutely everything you could need – ideal for self-catering. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to cook, but I was lucky enough to enjoy a delicious homemade meal instead. The room was spacious, exactly as shown in the pictures, and spotlessly clean. When I opened the door, I was welcomed by the most amazing fresh scent – something I can still remember now. The price is more than reasonable – truly outstanding value for money. The owner and his family are incredibly kind and caring. They constantly made sure I had everything I needed and treated me with genuine warmth and attention. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. It was the end of my trip, and I didn’t have the chance to extend my stay – otherwise, I absolutely would have. They only started this place a few months ago, but everything is done so professionally – even better than many experienced hosts. I will definitely come back and stay longer next time. They are no longer just hosts – they feel like family. I wish them all the very best. 💛

Not just “my home,” but a place that truly feels like family. This is already my second stay here, and without a doubt my favorite place in Sri Lanka. I came back after just three weeks because I simply couldn’t stay away from the love and warmth of this incredible family. From the very first moment, you don’t feel like a guest – you feel at home. Every member of the family has such a special energy, and together they create something truly magical. The house is brand new, spotlessly clean, and maintained with so much care. The rooms are spacious, bright, and the beds are super comfortable. You can feel the love in every detail – even fresh flowers in the room. Hot showers with great water pressure are always available. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped – one of the best I’ve ever seen – perfect if you want to cook for yourself. The location is also ideal: just 10 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the bus station. And the food… just wow. Chetu’s Ayurvedic porridge is not only delicious but truly healing – it helped me so much with my stomach that I ended up having it every single day. Everything is prepared with so much love and care. On top of all this, the price is more than fair – honestly one of the best value-for-money places I’ve ever stayed at. Staying here is not just accommodation – it’s an experience full of connection, warmth, and genuine happiness. I will definitely come back. 💞 With all my Love, Sonia Sunshine ☀️

That I couldn't stay longer...

My Home Tangalle – not only "MY home", but now also a part of my heart and MY family. because I felt so much love and warmth from this wonderful family. Each member has their own special gift that made my stay truly unique. Chuli, with his amazing organizational and communication skills. Chetu, pure unconditional LOVE, creating healing and nourishing food & sharing her kindness every moment. Mesa, a little genius with an endless curiosity, sharing her knowledge with so much joy. Tino, the little whirlwind, bringing sunshine and energy everywhere. Liseri, such an authentic and powerful presence, which reminds us how much we can be loved without performance. Tari (Hiru Eliya), whose smile lights up every room & her hubby, Ayurveda Dr. K.  Healer Siri and the relaxed free spirit Gunnar, who introduced me to new fruits every day. And lovely Chandra, with whom I could laugh and dance. I love you all!!!💞 The house is spotlessly clean, with large, airy rooms and very comfortable big beds. Warm showers are available whenever you need them, with great water pressure. You can feel the love in every detail – even fresh flowers in the room. Experiencing such a loving family up close is truly a gift. The food is incredible. Chetu’s healthy Ayurvedic porridge is absolutely wonderful – it helped me a lot with my stomach issues, and I ended up ordering it every single day. It gave me nourishing energy and felt healing for my whole body. Breakfast is abundant and delicious, and every meal is prepared with care and love. That I had to leave 😅

Es war sehr schön und gut gelegen für den Preis. Man kann in 10min zu den Stränden weiter weg fahren oder schnell in ein paar Minuten zu dem Strand direkt vor Ort. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist top und die Familie sehr lieb. Man konnte gut mit ihnen über alles mögliche reden und sie waren immer offen für Fragen und Tipps. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker!

Das einzige was ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig ist war die Hitze. Wie waren davor in Ella und waren noch kältere Temperaturen gewohnt und ohne Klimaanlage war es teilweise sehr heiß. Also tagsüber lieber unterwegs am Strand sein, wo es windig ist!
