Huisje voldoet aan alle verwachtingen. De bedden slapen prima, de badkamer is netjes, de woonkamer precies goed voor een verblijf van een paar dagen. De omgeving is zeer de moeite waard. Met de auto ben je zo bij het strand, de duinen, maar ook de dorpjes boven Alkmaar. Op de fiets is het hier vast ook prima toeven.
Er zijn een paar kleine reparaties nodig aan de vloer en de kraan in de keuken. Verder is het vreemd dat je geen sleutel krijgt van de dubbele 'tuindeur'. In een regenachtig weekend niet zo boeiend, maar hoog zomer lijkt me dat onhandig. De N-weg achter het kanaal is op de achtergrond aanwezig.
