The best part about this place is the lady who runs the place. Humble, kind and attentive to requests, and always helpful with information. She even shared with me a delicious native fruit she was eating, after I expressed my curiosity about it. The place is away from the centre of District 1, so one can sleep peacefully, though at times, one can hear the bathroom flush in a nearby room. That's just a minor inconvenience though and can be easily overlooked. Not a deal breaker. Additionally, several local eateries nearby, serving fresh and affordable food, unlike the expensive and tricky food at the city centre. I think it's a neighbourbood with all good residents. Cleanliness in the room was good. Bathroom could be slightly bigger. Overall, a decent and nice budget place to stay for a couple of nights for a solo visitor.

The host Sunny was lovely. Very helpful & worked hard to make our stay a memorable one. We discovered we did not have a correct power adaptor & Sunny hopped on her scooter & went & found one. Sunny was also very helpful with an ambiguous transport address. The bed was very comfortable & we had a lovely little balcony overlooking our access alley which was nice & quiet. We loved having a low key breakfast with the locals each day just across our alley. Street food & quality coffee was in abundance close to the accommodation. We enjoyed our stay here mostlydue to its location. Centrally located, good walking distances to major attractions & great local interaction.

Sunny House has had current proprietors Sunny & Matt for only 2 months. They are working hard to bring the accommodation up to a higher standard. Most rooms seem quite good but we had an apartment that was a little run down. The price perhaps reflected this. Problems encountered were some minor plumbing issues, poor quality power outlets with poor locations. The apartment was a little tight space wise & quite shabby, but clean. The other apartments we saw were a nice step up on ours. Note we would stay here again because we loved the location Sunny & the locals. Bun
