Arrowhead Motel Single Room at Sundance

This updated and refurbished motel is adorable and it was perfect for us on our road trip. The past reviewers giving bad marks are just upset that it has modern booking features, meaning you book online and get a door code - there isn’t a staff person sitting in the motel office. But we appreciated that anybody staying here would have to make a plan, not just roll in randomly. We loved how they took an old classic motel and gave it new life. It was beautifully decorated, brand new tile plank flooring (no yucky carpet!) and they preserved the 20th century bathroom tiles while updating the bathroom fixtures and wall decor. Check in was super easy and there’s a fantastic coffee shop directly across the street. I would definitely stay here again! I hope we see more of these beautifully restored classics of Americana.

It was a drive up motel so we parked outside our room. This made unloading luggage very easy.

The AC unit was inadequate for the hot temperatures.
