Azure Bay Chic Villa

The home itself is very charming, with a lovely outdoor area, and patio with outdoor dining and lounge tables. Inside and outside there is lovely tile- and stonework, and impressive timber wood throughout. The lawn and garden plants are beautiful. It is a big house and has lots of separate spaces for sleeping and gathering. This would be a great place to live if you needed to be in the area for work or to write a book.

The town is unpleasant, with nothing decent within walking distance. The "nearby" market no longer exists. The closest beach was also unpleasant and run-down and rocky, yet surprisingly crowded on an October weekday. The house did not have a washing machine or pool as advertised (only an inflatable-type hot tub). There is no dishwasher, which is not ideal for larger groups (we were six). The only way to exit the property is with a single remote key for the gate, which automatically closes. If anyone leaves the property with the only key, then nobody else can exit without scaling a seven-foot wall. Internet did not function upon arrival, and we departed early after 24 hours, just before the repair person arrived.

La struttura è favolosa ed accogliente, con un meraviglioso spazio esterno e un altrettanto fantastico spazio interno.

Very nice villa, with great style and cozy atmosphere. We were 7 people and fitted comfortably. We drove around with our rented car, so transportation wasn’t an issue at all. The host is very reachable and fixed the wifi problem the same afternoon when we called him. We visited Sicily in March, the aircons in the rooms perfectly warmed up the house. The garden is fabulous with plenty of options to lounge in the sun.
