Vila Vitória

Location is great, next to the oceanfront, beaches and city center. Apartment itself is modern and spacious, just be mindful of stairs if you are traveling with small kids who are just crawling and learning to walk. You have all the amenities if you want to cook yourself. Communication with host was prompt and helpful. Air-conditioning worked properly and cooled during hot days.

Microwave didn't work or I couldn't manage to turn it on. If you need child chair or cot ask beforehand as during the stay they are not able to deliver.

Perfect location in the old town . Spacious and two bathrooms so great for 4 people

Misleading pictures on booking : the house has two different apartments for rental - but on the add for the specific apartment we booked it was pictures from both apartments- so it showed pictures from the appt above as well, making us believe we booked a store appt with balcony and terrace and a different layout - in the end we ended up realising we only have one floor , at the basement , no balcony . Also the bathroom window could not be opened and the bathroom door didn’t fully close , and there was some foul smell in both bathrooms and the kitchen . The bathroom floor was damaged with the result it would stay wet after a shower for hours .

Las paredes son muy finas, se escuchaban mucho lis ruidos de la calle, como las gaviotas. Costaba dormir por esto.

Two story apartment with two bathrooms. Clean and freshly renovated. Two separate A/C units work great. Great location right in the Cascais tourist area.

Apartment is very strange and quirky. All lights are controlled from a single panel on the wall with no indication as to which switch controls which light (and some are multi-positional!). Also there are not enough lights, so in the evenings the place is extremely dark. There’s no other option than to sit in the gloom even if you turned on every single available light. There are no proper mirrors. There’s one narrow horizontal one that is chest-height and one bigger one that is weird and distorted. But you can’t see anything in either anyway because of lack of light. Also we thought the unit featured a bathtub. It doesn’t.
