Riad el fassi & spa charme authentique piscine chauffée

Wat een prachtige, rustige riad. Het verblijf hier was zo fijn. Superlieve mensen die hier werken. Een heerlijk ontbijt. Lekker zwembad om in af te koelen. Het bed was prettig. Mooi dakterras om op te ontspannen. Echt een aanrader!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at Riad el Fassi was brilliant. We had a guide (Faj) meet us at our drop off point and were warmly welcomed to our Riad by Fatima with tea and a room upgrade. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Faj took us to places we wanted to go which was very helpful in not getting lost. The location is a 15 min walk to the main town/market areas but it was nice to be amongst the locals and how they live life. Would highly recommend staying here!

The Riad is situated near the Tanneries which is not a pleasant smell however this of course is not in control of the Riad and could only smell it on the rooftop occasionally. Everything else was perfect.

We like the accommodation itself and breakfast; Breakfast was exceptional, and the riad is beautiful. The staff on-prem were nice and helpful. Price-value ratio was good as well, and we got to experience a bit of the culture by staying in this riad. The older gentleman from the riad was extremely nice and helpful during our stay.

We didn't like the location. It is not mentioned how deep into the medina this place is. It is quite scary going to our from dusk onwards, which limited our plans for the evening. Additionally, communication between the riad and all the drivers booked through them was not the best, there were misunderstandings which led to us being late to the pre-booked and pre-paid activities multiple times, our day trip to Casablanca was shortened for 2 hours due to a car breaking down on the highway, and we ended up not seeing the city and paying the full ride as if nothing happened. The price of the arranged taxis is almost double the price of taxis booked through apps, which we ended up paying fully. We highly recommend booking all rides yourself. Also, the reception doesn't work after 11pm, so make sure to triple-check if someone will be awake to open the doors if you come back after that time. We reached out to the riad after our trip to rectify all the extra payments we ended up paying for all cabs and rides, but a lot of back and forth, nothing was resolved, so that put a cloud over our stay.
