I booked this apartment as a 62 year old lady arriving alone on my birthday. My friend joined later. Was very disappointed on arrival as no welcome pack at all. Nothing to greet a guest, let alone a birthday one. No water, milk, tea, coffee and the shops a good walk away down a big hill, i was stuck. It was my very 1st visit to Tenerife too so no idea where things were. Not even a number for a Taxi. A little something would have been nice. No information leaflets. Blinds over the door needed re stitching. Sheets and blankets were not very welcoming.( Old and warm) Controls for fans didn't work. No instruction for TV. Kitchen door hanging loose. The shower flooded the bathroom every time it was used. 1 bath mat and 2 small towels for a whole week. The towels were not very welcoming. ( Old and worn) With no balcony to dry washing either. The swimming pool wasn't freezing but heated??. Really. I loved Los Gigantis. I only wish I'd chosen a place with a balcony, not so high up as the walk back was too far for me to carry stuff. Ie water and heavy bags, plus at night it can be tricky as broken slabs on areas en route. The €300 security deposit they asked for wasn't made clear enough until I had booked the property. I did ask for an upgrade but the agent I booked with wee not connected to the rooms on the upper floors so I was stuck. If it hadn't have been for my friend joining me , I would have felt quite isolated. A balcony is a must to see the fabulous sunrise and sunsets. I believe the apartment was an expensive stay as after I'd spoken to others, I realised they had beautiful places at cheaper rates. Communication was ok but I really felt that they didn't really care or put any effort into making it a lovely holiday and lack of attention to detail was obvious. Very bland. I had to cut my holiday short but was glad to leave as towels and bath mat were sopping. Very basic. It served a purpose but would not return.
