    We had an exceptional stay at this property in Dali, despite a small issue with locating it on arrival. I would strongly recommend confirming the exact address with the staff beforehand to avoid the same situation. We arrived via high-speed train, and the property was about a 30-minute Didi ride from the station. The location is slightly removed from the main tourist areas, which was exactly what we were looking for. If you prefer being in the middle of the busy tourist scene, this may feel a bit far out. However, getting around is easy with Didi or by renting a vehicle. For us, the peaceful setting was perfect, so we rated it five stars. This is a family-run property with kind, helpful staff and a relaxed atmosphere. There is a unique elevator that I was initially hesitant to use, but it turned out to be completely fine. Breakfast is traditional local Chinese cuisine, which I personally enjoyed. That said, if you prefer more variety, having the same breakfast every day might not suit you long-term, and you may want to explore nearby options. After a week, even I was ready for a change. If you would like coffee, just ask—the staff were very accommodating and happily prepared it for me. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. While we did not have the best view (we chose a more budget-friendly option), it met all our needs. Storage space was somewhat limited, and a wardrobe would be a useful addition. There are rooms with lake views, which we would definitely consider next time. The bathroom was modern, featuring a high-tech toilet with a heated seat, and the shower was excellent. Entertainment options were limited to local CCTV channels, but this did not bother us as we brought our own media. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay. The property has some lovely touches, including friendly kittens that our kids enjoyed playing with and a selection of dresses in the reception area for guests who want to take photos. The laundry facilities were convenient and included a dryer. There are enough shops and restaurants nearby to meet your needs. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, this is an ideal choice. We would definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful experience—we are very grateful.
