I stayed at Sundaram Hotels, Deoghar last night, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
The room was in very poor condition and lacked basic safety and hygiene standards. Some of the major issues I noticed were:
- No CCTV in our floor, No proper locks on the room, Windows had no proper doors with little push door will open, Drainage holes had no proper covers, Strong bad and cigarette/smoke smell in the room, Mosquitoes throughout the room, Overall room condition was unhygienic and poorly maintained
For the price charged, I expected at least basic cleanliness, safety and maintenance, but unfortunately none of these were satisfactory.
I strongly suggest visitors avoid choosing this hotel, especially families and people who are concerned about safety and hygiene. The management seriously needs to improve the basic facilities and maintenance of the rooms.
