About this house rental
Classic cape farmhouse in Woodstock/Barnard Village location. This elegant property, sitting on over 20 acres, has manicured grounds, stone walls, and an amazing private swimming pond. Within the 4,200 sq. feet there are 4 bedrooms with private baths as well as additional sleeping areas, a kid’s playroom/lounge, office space, formal dining room, separate laundry room with washer/dryer and spacious gathering spaces. Includes a fully equipped chef's kitchen.
The space
The house has all the amenities: Wi-Fi, TV, renovated bathrooms with hair dryers, ironing board, full sized crib, pack N’ play, baby gates, and an additional roll away bed.
In summer relax, sit on the screened in porch, take a dip in the private pod, hike the Appalachian Trail, take a walk to Silver Lake to canoe/kayak or fish for largemouth bass, northern pike, pumpkin seed sunfish, yellow perch, and rock bass. Silver Lake state park facilities include beach, boat rentals and snack bar. Ride horses on the expansive trials or travel to White River, just 10 min away, for fly fishing or tubing.
In winter, Silver Lake offers the opportunity to skate or cross-country ski on the lake or ice fish. Saskadena Ski Area is family oriented ski mountain and is just 8 minutes away. Killington/Pico is only a 30-min drive. Rent a snowmobile and experience the 80 miles of snowmobile trails.
