Explore Voyageur National Park, just a short 5 minute boat ride from Rainy Retreat, or a 10 minute car ride to the Voyageur National Park Visitors Center. Also, just a short 5 minute boat ride away are several lodges offering boat gas, food and drinks. For the ultimate Rainy Lake/Voyageur National Park adventure, consider boating to Kettle Falls or into Rainer for an ice cream cone, locally brewed beer at Loony's, or a delicious cocktail/mocktail at the Cantilever Distillery.
World class fishing also awaits those interested in trying their luck on Rainy Lake's famous walleye and small mouth bass. We can put you in contact with local fishing guides as well!

We really enjoyed the home! It was wonderful and really comfortable. Easily accessible for the two members of our family with disabilities. Great view of the lake and northern lights!

What a perfect weekend- we had 8 guests total stay at this lovely home. The weather wasn’t perfect but it didn’t matter. Your large deck and fireplace is fantastic. We played a lot of games at the large dining table. Our family commented several times how awesome the table behind the couch was- great to have the stools with extra seating for our group. So much fun! Would be a beautiful home to get snowed in over the holidays. Very clean and the kitchen had everything we could have needed!

This was a great space for our family to spend time together over the holidays. We enjoyed the open floor plan and watching the deer that visited each day.

Rainy Retreat was a very comfortable and clean. It had a spacious deck with a wonderful fire table, comfortable seating, beautiful views of Rainy Lake and a gas grill. Even though it was too late in fall for us to swim, it had a nice dock with easy waterfront access. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, glasses, a regular coffee pot, a keurig coffee pot and other cooking essentials. It was a wonderful getaway.
