Lanterna - Sea View & Near Beach

The host was great, very friendly and accommodated our every request (within reason). The apartment was very spacious, the view was great and very close to the sea (beach itself is about 3-4 minutes away) Everything was clean and tidy.

1) The air conditioning is far too weak for an apartment of this size. It took about two full days for the apartment to cool down enough for us to sleep comfortably. The external AC unit is also quite noisy and is mounted on the outside wall of the bedroom. 2) The kitchen is severely under-equipped for an apartment that accommodates four people, especially when it comes to the fridge. The fridge is tiny, the interior light doesn't work, and neither does the freezer. There is plenty of unused space in the kitchen for a regular-sized fridge, so this was particularly frustrating. The kitchen itself is also quite dated, and some things are showing their age or occasionally break. 3) The bathroom seriously lacks storage space. There is only one medium-sized shelf under the sink, which is simply not enough for a family of four to store toiletries and other bathroom essentials. 4) One of the windows cannot be fully closed, which certainly doesn't help on hot days when the AC is already struggling - but don't worry, you are provided with a roll of duct tape so you can tape the window shut when needed! 5) The balcony is simply too small to be of much practical use which is a real shame considering a great view.
