Due to the proximity to the sea, you have the opportunity to take part in a variety of different water sports, which can be booked with local providers on request. The landscape around Colonia de Sant Jordi is characterised by numerous salt pans. A visit to this nature reserve and its salt pans is highly recommended. The lighthouse at Cap de Ses Salines is a great starting point for wonderful hikes. The tastefully furnished Villa Sa Vela is situated in an absolutely secluded location in the south of the island, just 7 km north-east of the coastal town of Colonia de Sant Jordi.
