There are several good restaurants on the pretty harbour promenade in the nearby fishing village of Colonia de San Pere (4.5 km) and you can go shopping in neighbouring Artá (16.5 km). Several other beaches can be reached in just a few minutes by car, including the wide bay of Son Serra de Merina (with a great breakfast bar next door).
