The house is pretty good but the management is awful! Don’t book unless they change management!

The management is a scam!!! I was contacted outside of booking the day before our trip telling me that we had to pay a security deposit of $600. Nothing of this was on booking so I ignored it thinking it was a scam. When I contacted them through booking on our road trip to get there I was told I did have to pay or they wouldn’t give me the check in info. We had a large group traveling a long way so I paid it- I had been told it would be refunded after our trip if there were no issues. Got to the house and had to get codes to unlock rooms in the house which is just weird. Trip went fine but afterwards they didn’t want to return my $600. I kept contacting them and it was excuse after excuse. A month later!!! I finally threatened them with legal action and all of a sudden they were able to return my money. I guarantee they are hoping people forget or give up- this is a scam! Don’t book this house unless you just want to give them an extra $600! We travel a lot and have never experienced anything like this
