The Field & Fern Cottages is a lovely place to stay that is cozy and quiet. We had a good stay here and the owners Melinda and Stuart are helpful and friendly. The main street in Tatamagouche is a short drive away, there's a lovely farmers market on weekends and there are numerous places to eat and to shops.
We liked everything.

The cleanliness, welcoming touches, outdoor stringed lights. Covered deck and fire pit. Hot tub available. Coffee machine available with mini fridge. I just loved it
The bathroom was not attached to the cottage but it really wasn’t a problem. It was clean and very easy to get to and very close by.

Cleanliness, modern, decor, and hot tub! Excellent service!!
Outdoor washroom, no running water in the cottage, no towels and couldn’t park beside the unit.

Beautiful location. Great hot tub. Good coffeemaker. Very quiet.
Cabin 2 is very small. There’s not enough room for a suitcase, barely fit in a carry on size especially if there is more than one guest. Not enough hooks for clothes. Too many decor items on bedside tables wasting precious space. Very decorated but overcrowded. No microwave.
