Francesca was extremely accommodating - we had travel issues resulting in very delayed arrival (and outside of 'check-in' hours), and she was responsive to my updates and thankfully ensured we didn't have to stress regarding checking in. The location of the apartment is just fantastic; we really got to take advantage of metro and buses nearby. Lots of amenities within walking distance as well, but the area was still quiet/calm enough for a good night's rest. Due to the nature of our trip, we didn't spend a lot of 'downtime' at the apartment, but it was a great and comfortable space for what we needed. If your trip allows you to make even better use of the space, it seems very well-stocked for cooking/staying in, and has a lovely (shaded) terrace to enjoy. Everything seemed in good shape and was clean.

Francesca is a wonderful host. Because of our late arrival in Malpensa, she had to come outside the normal business hours to meet us and hand over the keys. Communication with her was excellent (the fact that she speaks German fluently helped a lot!). The apartment is a good size for two persons, and the large terrace in the back is a wonderful place to have coffee in the morning. The kitchen is very well equipped and would permit even some more demanding cooking. But who would do so with the many great restaurants in the area? A supermarket and a bakery are also nearby. Access to the metro, which takes you straight to the Duomo is a few minutes walk away. Given the punishing heatwave we experienced while in Milano, the availability of air-conditioning was a great plus.
