Bright Apartment near EU Quarter & Schuman Metro

The apartment is exactly as presented in the pictures. It is well equipped, clean, spacious. Also good for longer stays. I loved the little balcony. A great place!

The shower overflows a little. Also, there are a coffee machine and a kettle, but no coffee capsules/tea bags are provided. I only stayed for 2 nights so I didn’t buy a full pack. It would be nice to make a few available - or for guests: pack them from home if you are only going to stay for a short period.

While it was clearly stated in description that no wifi is provided, for longer stays wifi access would be appreciated.

The apartment itself is beautiful, spacious, and in a perfect location. It is in a quiet area, away from busy and noisy streets, yet still conveniently located. It has the basic amenities you need for a comfortable stay, and the little balcony is a lovely touch. There is also a wonderful coffee shop just around the corner, Luce, with excellent coffee and delicious baked goods definitely a highlight of the location.

The biggest problem was very poor management and communication. Every response to my messages had an automated-system notice at the bottom, and I was repeatedly told that my inquiry had been received, rather than receiving actual assistance. My main issue was a serious problem with the heating and hot water. I had no heating or hot water for an entire day, and after both were restored, the same problem happened again the following day. The apartment became quite cold. Eventually, I was sent step-by-step instructions on how to adjust a valve, but they were in Flemish, not English. I was not comfortable attempting this myself, and the next time it happened, I had to use Google Translate to understand the instructions and fix the problem myself. There was also conflicting information about check-out. I was initially told 11:00am then later received a message saying 10:00am so I had to message them to confirm the correct time. What was most frustrating was the lack of personal assistance. My calls were not returned, and no one actually came to attend to the problem. For a €800 stay, I expected much better support when essential amenities were not working. Overall, the apartment has so much potential. It is beautiful, spacious, well located, and could be an excellent place to stay. But good accommodation is more than the apartment itself it is also about having reliable management when something goes wrong. In other words, it is a gem with some serious cracks.
