This BRAND NEW inviting lake-view retreat is perfect for a peaceful escape, a small family vacation, or a cozy weekend with friends.
Enjoy morning coffee on the deck with serene lake views, then spend the day on the water or exploring nearby attractions. Construction was just finished in December 2025 and this place is ready for you to enjoy. Located minutes from Mammoth Cave, Nolin State Park, the Bourbon Trail, and the National Corvette Museum, it’s the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.
Swimming, boating, fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing, and kayaking are perfect activities here. This 2-bedroom, 2-bath home offers all the comforts and amenities you need for a truly relaxing vacation. It sleeps up to 6 adults, with a pull-out sofa bed in the living room to provide extra sleeping space. You can enjoy amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, Wifi, and Smart TV. The kitchen is well stocked with a with cookware, utensils, dishes, coffee maker, ice maker, and more.

This lake home is 5 miles from Nolin Lake State Park and beach and hiking trails, 10 min from Blue Holler mud and 4-wheeler trails, 30 min from Mammoth Cave, and 30 min from Beech Bend amusement park. The neighborhood has a community boat ramp about 1/2 mile away where you can launch and recover your boat easily and a couple of marinas on the lake.
This is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet getaway without the busyness of the city! In case you forget something, there are several local mini markets (Webb’s and Sailings) close by and a Dollar General Market about 10 minutes (5 miles) away. One of the local Amish stores has amazing donuts on Saturday mornings and a Walmart is just 30 minutes away in Leitchfield.

This home does have lake access than is located across the street.
Please be advised the US Corps of Engineers own Nolin Lake and is used for flood control. Lake access is best during the summer as the Corps lowers the lake (25 to 30 feet) starting late October. Due to flood control aspects of the lake, the walk up and down to the water is steep, and some guests might find it difficult. Winter pool is 25-30 feet below summer pool. Which makes the lake inaccessible during winter months. During rainy seasons the lake has been known to go 25 ft above summer pool. Also making the lake hard to access. We try very hard to keep the access to the lake available but sometimes the levels change drastically and are hard to keep up. We do the best we can. The water levels can be checked at the Nolin River website.
Owners reside across the street and the property has exterior security cameras.
Two dogs (under 50 pounds each) are allowed for a pet fee of $75/trip. Please be sure to add them to your reservation prior to checking out.

What a beautiful place! Our family had a wonderful weekend on cave tours & relaxing at the house. Everything was immaculate, comfortable, well stocked and beautiful! We had our 3 almost grown children with us and we were all comfortable. The porch was lovely to sit out on, even in the rain. Communication with the hosts was friendly and proactive. Absolutely everything was wonderful and we highly recommend this house and hope to return for another visit sometime.

This property is the nicest we have rented. The high ceiling in the kitchen and living room make it look Mammoth! The construction is well built with a thick wide beam in the main room. The Lake house was beautifully yet casually decorated with some Lake theme details. We used the covered porch to dine every evening and morning Used the grills and our last night there was cool enough to use the firepit. Close to Mammoth cave and the lake. Did some hiking near the lake and at the cave. Unfortunate there was a sign that said the state park was closed but it was just the beach. We had a peaceful stay and were happy to meet the owners.

Cabin was amazing! No expense was spared in building and decorating. Very close to Mammoth Cave! We also grilled out on the new Blackstone grill and had a campfire in the new firepit. Only issue was there was no kayaking which we really wanted to do! The lake level was too low! So check this out first if you want to do this activity. Everything else including the hosts were great!!
