Villa Cazabelle

We were 9 people. Lots of room indoors & outdoors. Loved that the kitchen was open to the outdoors. Beds were super comfortable. Everything that we needed was there. Sylvie was super quick to respond to us with any questions. We made use of two beaches that we could walk to. Would highly recommend this home .

The house is very nice, big enough for 3 families with kids (total 13 people). Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Pros: well equipped kitchen with all needed utensils (coffee machine, toaster, 2 refrigerators, enough plates and glasses for big group). Bathroom and bedrooms were nice and clean, towels for using on beach and in the bathroom supplied for entire stay. Drying machine was very useful especially in the humid climate and we were able to have dry towels and swimming suits for next day. Large patio with big table and large and clean swimming pool. Good working AC in each bedroom. Everything was clean and as shown on pictures. Cons: mold/ humidity smell in some of the bedrooms, we are not sure if this come from rooms or from AC. It goes away after longer using AC but come back after not using AC when we were out of house for entire day. Neighborhood house is really close (you can't see if from pictures) and you need to be really quiet after 10 pm and do not disturb them. Kids swimming/ water jumping after 10 pm was impossible. Toilet paper, trash bags and soap for dishwasher is supplied only for 1-2 days of stay. We were there for 7 nights and we need to buy soap for bathrooms, soap to wash dishes, toilet paper and trash bags. The closest beach for swimming is around 5 km.

We had a lovely time staying at this charming and spacious home! The pool and outdoor area was the perfect place to relax between excursions. We loved every minute. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! Our family of 6 adults and 1 three-year old child had plenty of room to co-exist comfortably. The house has 4 air-conditioned bedrooms: two downstairs and two upstairs; beds for 11 in the house alone. (There is also additional space available in a lower-level studio that we did not use.) Two toilets, three showers and one large tub in the house; one outdoor shower as well. Fully-equipped kitchen, with dishwasher and washer/dryer made things easy. The private, salt-water pool was very refreshing first thing in the morning and after a day hiking or after the beach (but the proximity to the dining area makes for very slippery floors - caution required!!) The outdoor lounge areas encouraged much rest and relaxation! Evie (the caretaker) was fantastic - very friendly, helpful and kind. While the house is very close to the ocean, it is not walking distance to a calm, swimming beach. A short drive in the car will take you to your choice of many, nearby swimming beaches as well as local markets, restaurants and hiking options. Guadeloupe is a beautiful place to explore with very friendly people - we hope to return one day soon!
