This cabin is located in the Shawnee Run neighborhood of the Red River Gorge alongside other cabins. This area is 5-10 minutes from attractions like Natural Bridge State Park, Miguel’s Pizza, The Red River Rockhouse, The Gorge Underground, and Appalachian Rose Farm Wedding Venue (The Greenhouse).
Other Things to Note:
- We supply a starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.
- Please ensure to enter a VALID and operational phone number into your account/ reservation as all of your information regarding your stay will be texted to your phone.
- There is a standard drip coffee maker. We provide filters, but not coffee.
- Firewood is not provided.
- This cabin utilizes city water and is considered safe for using and drinking.
- A starter amount of shampoo and body soap are provided.
- This cabin is pet-friendly. Our pet fee is $50 for up to two pets. Please be sure to add pets onto your guest count so the fee automatically applies.
- Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in the cabin.
- This property is located approximately 1 mile down a flat, gravel road. Ruts in the gravel may be present. 4x4 is not required unless there is snow or ice present.

Very nice newly built cabin. Lots of privacy and very cozy. Be sure to follow the host’s directions as Apple Maps has trouble with this one because of how new the development is.

The cabin is very well maintained. Everything was very clean. The hot tub was wonderful. Beautiful views even from the living room windows! The bed is nice and big and comfortable. The kitchen had almost all the essentials for cooking and eating. There is no microwave so heating up food had to be done in the oven. Overall this is a very very nice cabin to stay in and I highly recommend to anyone!

The property was stunning. It was difficult to find at first and we had to navigate to locate it because it wasn’t on the map, but we made it! Everything was clean, orderly, and right where the directions said they would be. The kitchen had utensils and the necessities we needed to cook a simple meal. The TV in the living room was broken the entire time we were there, but it wasn’t able to be fixed until after our stay. The water pressure was also severely lacking, but that may have had something to do with the remoteness of the location. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would rent this property again.

House was new and very clean. No issues with check in and check out. Hot tub also clean and the top was very easy to open and close. The road you turn onto to go back to the cabin is gravel which is fine but it was very bumpy and uneven. The front door sticks when you go inside the cabin at first I couldn’t get it open. Lots of different remotes for the mini splits, fireplace, tvs, also the bedroom light/fan. When we arrived we noticed right away there weren’t batteries in the tv remotes so we kept having to switch batteries from other remotes. Its nice there is city water there but the water pressure is super low so a shower is not so enjoyable.
