About this house rental
Spacious 120m2 stone house located in the center of Corsica, at the highest peak of the charming village of Moltifao.
The accommodation
An ideal house for getting away from it all and recharging your batteries. It is located 30 minutes from the beaches of Balagne (Ostriconi, Lozari), 25 minutes from Corte, the capital of Corsica. A 5-minute drive will take you to the nearest river, and 15 minutes from Ponte Leccia, a small town with all amenities (Super U supermarket, Spar supermarket, bakery, tobacconist, newsagent, doctor, etc.).
The house has: - Two terraces with no overlooking neighbors, barbecue, garden furniture, sun loungers, which will allow you to enjoy the outdoors;
- A panoramic view of the village;
- Access to the hiking trail at the foot of the mountain, allowing direct access to the Castifao convent. The stone house extends over three levels:
1. The first floor features a terrace with an awning, garden furniture, a charcoal barbecue, two sun loungers, an entrance hall, and a fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator, microwave, oven, filter coffee maker, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, toaster, electric hob, and dishwasher. There is also a dining room, a living room with a flat-screen TV, and a bedroom.
2. Upstairs you will find a hall leading to two bedrooms, one with a large terrace, as well as a bathroom & WC.
3. In the basement, you will have a washing machine and a clothes drying rack.
4. Beds are made upon your arrival, a towel kit per person per stay, bath mat, dish towels.

Owner was friendly and helpful. House has incredible views over the mountains and the terrace at the back was the perfect place for all our meals. The drive up to the house from Moltifao is not for the faint-hearted (we managed to burst a tyre but that was driver error rather than road surface!). Gorges de l’asco A short drive away (get there early in summer holidays and claim your own little piece of undisturbed paradise) and we went twice to Ostriconi Beach which, if you like being off the beaten track, is absolutely wonderful. Had a very happy week with our 3 kids and everyone we met was friendly and helpful.
