Excellent service - food quality was very good

The worst hotel I have experienced till now. And the hospitality was even more worse. The balconies were so dirty as if it has never been cleaned and water was leaking all over the room. Water was leaking through the AC. Even the room which was shown while booking was not given. The price according to the room was too high. There is no network inside the hotel and the wifi of the hotel was not working. The staff behaviour was not good. Specifically this hotel is not for family, the atmosphere of the hotel is so disgusting, feels like people come to this hotel only for drinking and nothing else. The swimming pool is only for the sake of name as the water is so dirty and I suppose is never changed or cleared. It smells so bad. The swimming pool water seems like a pond in the village.

I stayed at Krishna Cottage, Digha for 2 nights , and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I strongly recommend that anyone planning to visit Digha avoid this hotel. The room was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The biggest shock was that the room was full of cockroaches—literally thousands of them. They were crawling on the floor, walls, bathroom, and even near the bed. It was impossible to feel comfortable or sleep peacefully. The cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. The room looked like it had not been cleaned for a very long time. The bathroom was in terrible condition, and the overall hygiene standards were extremely poor. The service was equally disappointing. Every request took an incredibly long time, and the staff showed very little concern for guests' comfort. The response was slow, and there was no sense of professionalism or urgency. The condition of the room was terrible. The furniture was old and damaged, the room felt neglected, and nothing matched the expectations shown in the booking. Instead of enjoying our vacation, we spent our time dealing with discomfort and frustration. I honestly regret booking this hotel. We paid for a 2-night stay but had a miserable experience throughout. This hotel seriously needs better management, proper pest control, deep cleaning, and improved customer service. My sincere advice to future travelers: Please read reviews carefully and choose another hotel. There are many better options in Digha. Don't waste your hard-earned money and ruin your trip by staying at Krishna Cottage. This was a very disappointing experience, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
