Welcome to The Buck Stops Here Cottage, a charming retreat nestled in the heart of nature, perfect for those who appreciate rustic beauty, presidential history, and the spirit of Ohio's legendary Buckeye football team. Whether you’re here to relax in the serene countryside or immerse yourself in the rich local culture, you’ll find that here, every experience is uniquely unforgettable.

Situated in a tranquil rural location, The Buck Stops Here Cottage offers an incredible blend of nature and comfort. The cottage is a short drive from local trails of Hocking Hills, scenic spots, and Ohio’s finest outdoor activities, making it the perfect base for exploring the woods and waterways where local deer roam freely.
The Concept
Drawing inspiration from multiple meanings of the word "buck," this cottage embodies the rugged charm of a male deer wandering through Ohio’s rolling hills, the resolute leadership symbolized by President Truman’s famous phrase, and the pride of Ohio State Buckeyes fans everywhere. Whether you’re looking to embrace the quiet solitude of nature, ponder history’s turning points, or rally around a football game, the Buck truly stops here!
Kitchen + Dining
Kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials and dinnerware. The family-sized dining table seats ten.
Bedrooms + Baths
3 bedrooms, 1 full bath and a billiard/game room in the garage. Bedrooms offer 1King and 3 Queen beds.
Shared Spaces
The billiards/game room features a pool table, large screen TV, arcade games, darts, and a library of games and puzzles.
Cozy living room with an electric fireplace and a television with Roku and a Nintendo switch gaming system. The sectional sofa offers plenty of space to stretch out and relax.
Outdoors
The Buck Stops Here Cottage is situated on a half-acre and features a spacious, covered front porch. Warm up outside at the wood fire pit or in the bubbling hot tub. Outdoor chairs, market lights and a propane grill are also provided under the covered back patio.
Laundry
Washer, dryer and detergent are provided for your convenience.
