It was a very nice stay for two nights. Great experience, it made ou Shanghai trip very joyful.

No complains and enjoyed our time here. Very good location just along the Bund. Rooms are huge and comfortable. We had issues with the curtains not able to close automatically and the staffs helped to resolve it quickly. In front of the hotel is the waterfront itself and only a short distance walk to Yu Garden.

Convenient location. Walking distance to Yuyuan Garden, the bund. Great view of the bund at night. The staff was friendly. Loved using the laundry facilities. They are communal but you’re able to keep track of your wash and dry through the TV. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: - across the Bund, hop on n off bus (good for tourist) in front of the hotel entrance - facilities quite new - free gym, washer and dryer, detergent - room ac temp can be set at 17 degree Celsius - heated smart toilet Cons - staff cannot communicate in English - floor layout is like a maze (need to take 2 elevators to go to 3rd floor) - bathroom layout is not practical (booked suite and yet the shower and toilet is crammed into a cubicle-like space) - river view is overrated (should have written “peek-a-boo river view”) can just see a sliver of it “diagonally” (as the hotel receptionist put it) Overall, worth it or not, will depend on what you prioritised. For us with a senior in tow, we are let down. That is why, we decide to move into another hotel.
