The Brick House - Weligama

The housing was clean, new and had very beautiful interior design. It was a very peaceful and quiet location, although quite close to the center of Weligama. I enjoyed the green view from the balcony. Whenever I had a question or request, it was answered very fast.

It was a little bit small space and I couldn't find a good spot to work on my laptop. However, other benefits outweighed this.

The rooms are new, well equipped and come with a balcony. Additionally they have a huge mosquito-net! The location is very nice, near the beach and the main road still in a quiet area. Everything you need is provided. I stayed for four weeks and really enjoyed my time at the Brick House. The couple downstairs don’t speak English but they are very kind, helpful and really try to do their best to provide a comfortable stay. Thanks again for everything!

The rooms are very small, there’s not a lot of space for storing your stuff. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with a fridge, so you’re not able to store some food. Sometimes in the morning the WIFI was gone but it was working again after a few hours.

I stayed at this accommodation for a total of 22 days and truly felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I would especially like to highlight the excellent communication with the host — he was always easy to reach via WhatsApp, very friendly, and extremely helpful. Whenever there was a small issue, he responded quickly and made sure it was resolved right away, which I really appreciated. The interior design is beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. The room is nicely furnished, the bathroom is modern and clean, and the balcony was definitely a big plus — perfect for starting the day in a relaxed way or enjoying some fresh air in the evening. The location is also very good, with everything important easily accessible.

The only small suggestion for improvement would be a small fridge in the room, which would be convenient for keeping drinks or snacks cool. But that is really just a minor detail.
