Cozy Full House 3 bedrooms

We were happy with the yard, private parking, having 3 bedrooms, a nice sized kitchen and living room, the main bathroom and laundry facilities. As well, the owners were very responsive to our requests for many items missing or not sufficient for 4 guests. They purchased and brought them to us the very next day. As well they gave us a discount due to the air-conditioning not working. .

We were told that the air conditioner wasn't working just as we arrived. As it was summer and hot, that was the main thing we wanted and texted more than once to make sure it was there. We were offered a full refund if we wanted to cancel but there was nothing else available comparable in size and cost so we had to be very diligent with setting up fans and opening and closing windows morning and night. I looked at previous reviews and found the same complaint so suggested they take having air conditioning off the website until they actually have it. There were no sheets on any of the beds and none available. There were only mattress covers and duvets, however they brought sheets and pillow cases the next day along with other items missing and necessary for 4 guests that we requested such as wash cloths, tea towels, more bowls, dish soap, scissors, clothes hangers, shampoo and body wash. There was coffee, tea and sugar available but no other condiments at all such as salt or pepper so make sure to bring your own. We were also not overly comfortable with the neighborhood. The neighbors frequently arguing loudly and smoking which drifted into the house as well as homeless people sleeping in the alley way behind the houses. However, no one caused us any trouble and it was quiet during the nights. We were advised by a person in the neighborhood not to walk alone at night. We were happy enough though with our stay as the owners were very responsive to our requests and suggestions so I would say that for the very good price, it is still a good place to stay.and we would go back.

The house was very clean, the host was very responsive and the location was near the Mosaic Stadium. We knew the area had some challenges (and there was also construction when we were there) but we had no problem with any individuals and were able to walk to and from the stadium. It’s not particularly nice but we didn’t feel unsafe, walking in a group. I don’t think I’d walk around alone and after dark.

The advertised AC was not available, although we were compensated for that. The bedding was very minimal, although clean. It was so hot when we were there but there was only a comforter and a bottom sheet … we would have liked a top sheet for a light cover.
