bathroom on second floor was quite small and tight. road for the entrance to the house was a small lane so if you take a cab you have to alight/pick up at the next street

Everything about this house was amazing. Everything was new and they had all the amenities we needed.

Although the house is spacious and well-suited for a family of five, the experience was severely marred by a rigid and hostile management style that prioritizes fees over hospitality. The communication felt aggressive, specifically a message "threatening" that cleaning staff would enter the room and begin working around us at exactly 10:00 AM if we hadn't left, coupled with a refusal to grant a simple one-hour late checkout despite the house being unbooked the next day. This transactional attitude was further highlighted when the host demanded an excessive 3,000 yen fee to dispose of a suitcase broken by the airline—a massive markup for a basic service. Furthermore, the property lacks functional shades, allowing the morning sun to pour in and making it impossible to sleep in, while the 10-minute trek to the nearest station makes daily travel quite uncomfortable for a family. I would not stay here again, as the lovely physical space does not make up for the uncooperative and intrusive management.
