Nilupul Villa - Homestay

​Nilupul Villa is one of the best places we’ve stayed. What was meant to be a one-day stay has already turned into four! While it isn't a 5-star hotel, the incredible attention to detail gives you a 5-star experience. ​The rooms are spacious, elegant, and spotlessly clean, featuring a large comfy bed, A/C, a medicine cabinet, and an iron with a board. There is also a shared kitchen and dining area equipped with a sink, cutlery, and a coffee pot. ​Rajitha and his wonderful family provide world-class hospitality showering us with welcome coconuts, free laundry, and delicious food. Rajitha even took us on a tour in his private vehicle and was exceptionally helpful with local information. ​The location is a perfect green retreat. The villa’s garden is beautiful, and you are close to a swimmable river, hiking trails, and temples. If you want a calm break from the city while remaining close to everything you need, I highly recommend Nilupul Villa.
