The place is a bit noisy

We thought your place was lovely but this morning we were woken up shortly after 8 a.m. by overwhelming cooking smells. It was an extremely strong and unexpected morning smell of onions, spices and perhaps tomatoes, like someone was making a huge batch of pasts sauce or chilli. I put on the exhaust over the stove but I could not figure out how to get the bathroom exhaust on. We could not get back to sleep after that. It would have been pleasant if it had been fresh bread or baking odours. I had been so excited that I had found a place to stay in when we come to Stratford, but I could not stay again as I guess this could happen again. If it was the eatery in the lower level they may not have properly operating HVAC equipment? To go up two levels and be so overwhelming as to wake up people is unfortunate and should be looked into.

The location was ideal and the property was beautiful. It was a great place to stay for attending the Stratford Festival!
