Beautifully renovated Lodge in wooded setting right on the river. Very peaceful and awesome spa with steamroom, sauna and cold dip tub! We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks and swings by the river. The area is a perfect place for a getaway and the owners and staff are very friendly.

This was a great place to stay with very nice rooms along w/ a mini kitchen and very spacious bathrooms. Everything has been updated and very clean.
We really enjoyed the Snowmelt Room spa experience and sitting by the river in the hammocks and the swing chairs.
It is just a beautiful setting with huge old growth pines. They also have two wonderful homes if you have a larger group or family outing. Perfect for a long weekend away in the cool pines. If you like to fly fish the river is right outside your door. There were some fly fishers on the river which was fun to see. Also many good hikes in the area and close to the Aspen Creek Winery which was really good for dinner, and the Shaggy Sheep down the road for lunch after our hike and then the spa room, and the Cutthroat Cafe for Breakfast. Just the perfect weekend!
They also have a Hostel or out door spaces in the summer season for Colorado Trail hikers.
Since it was the start of the season maybe they have games to put outside which would be fun. Cornhole, 4 in a Row, large Jenga, etc... But we enjoyed just relaxing by the river after our hikes.

Our room was huge and definitely worth the value. We had a full kitchen with a stove/oven and fridge, dishwasher, microwave...everything we needed! The sliding doors to outside porch were amazing - we loved being right on the river. So picturesque. They also included full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and boy lotion which was a lovely touch. Even though you were close to the highway, it wasn't too noisy, especially at night. We LOVED the Snowmelt sauna. Would come back for this alone. We had it to ourselves and loved the guide to how to use it. Amazing perk. This was an amazing stay and we can see ourselves coming back here with families and staying for longer. It felt like a combo between a hotel and Airbnb.
There were a ton of salts/spices which was so nice but would have loved some olive oil or a couple other cooking necessities. We also didn't see any staff the entire time, check-in was on your own, etc. Which was fine, I think that part just felt more like an Airbnb which would be good to know ahead of time. Self-check-in.
