Phoenix East II 2002

I purposely choose this particular bottom floor condo for the way it was easy access in and out and we didn't have to be limited in space of a balcony. The pool was perfect. The short distance from our condo to the sand and ocean. This beach allowed personal canopies so we could set up our larger area without being cramped by the rental of an umbrella and chairs. Personally, I prefer the extra room. We have cars and a convertible and rented a truck so we could bring our canopy, chairs and larger things for the beach. Its not easy to find rentals like that anymore. We stayed there over 4th of july, and it was the best fireworks show we have ever seen. There was alot of patio furniture and they were extremely comfortable.

The site stated FREE Parking. There was a forced payment to reserve parking after I had already booked the condo. I emailed the property and they resonded that their web site did not offer that, and parking was never free. When I went back to the site, they had removed and changed it. Luckily I screen shot the page and sent it to them for proof, and asked them how would I proceed without being charged. They never notified or responded with me with an answer. I ended up having to pay. I told them that was shady and already felt uneasy about renting it. There weren't any cooking cooking spices, not even salt, pepper or non stick spray. Make sure you bring EVERYTHING needed basically to season your food and not ruin your from sticking to the pans for the stove. The pots, pans and baking utensils were provided. When we arrived we couldn't even use the restroom. Apparently there was a leak from up above. They had equipment and tubes in the bathroom drying it out. I called the front desk and they didn't even seem to be aware of it. They informed me that they would have to look into it to see if WE could move the equipment to use the bathroom. The machinery running was extremely loud to where we had to close the bathroom doors. They told us that we could pull out the equipment from the bathtub if we needed to shower and then place it back. The second day of our stay we were told WE should remove the equipment and set it outside our door. We had atleast 2 people come out to check the ceiling to make sure we could use the bathroom. The next day we had another maintenance person come to our rental to check the air-conditioning because they had installed a new one previously to our stay. Then they called to inform me that they had someone coming to remove the loaned washing machine to install a new washing machine. I was perturbed that all of these issues were being done during our booked stay.
